CSTC wishes you and your family the happiest of holidays. This is a great time of the year to spend with family, and for a lot of us, requires traveling over the holiday period. We wanted to give you a few tips on making your home safer while you enjoy time away with family and friends.
With the Summer holidays coming, a lot of families are going to hit the roads, and driving is one of the biggest safety risks we face on a daily basis. Ben Laverty III talks about PIEV and M&M in relation to Driving, following distances and stopping distances.

Our third interview we thought was fitting to meet the Terra Laverty, daughter of the founder of CSTC Ben Laverty III.
As employers we are responsible for ensuring that the proper information is available for our employees throughout their work shifts. Today we will be discussing information specific to employees who work in pesticide treated fields, and those who handle and apply pesticides to fields. I’ll begin by quoting a section of a brochure produced by the California Department of Pesticide Regulations.
CSTC has attended the California CUPA training conference for many years and it has shown to be a great resource for continuing education and enhancement of our programs, clients, staff and the safety culture! With the copious topics and sessions provided during the 4 days of training, there is a lot of information and ”take aways.”
This time of the year, Pesticides and Respirators are popular trainings and topics of many questions. We had the chance to have Rey, one of CSTC's Trainers talk us through respirator take apart, cleaning, and even walk us through the proper way to put on and remove a respirator mask.

Our second interview we thought was fitting to meet the Ben Laverty IV, son of the founder of CSTC Ben Laverty III.
You can’t get too far in your daily life without some sort of contact with a fuel operated vehicle, whether at home, or at work they are everywhere. While handling fuel at home requires care and safety for proper storage, dealing with fuel while at work not only requires safe procedures it also requires specific adherence to federal and state guidelines especially with regards to how it is being stored.
